Quick Kettlebell Workout for the Holidays
During the holiday season there is always so much going on. Unfortunately most of it revolves around activites that make your ass fatter than it used to be. That sucks right? That's why you need to sneak in quick workouts whenever you have some down time to try and minimize the high calorie holiday damage.
For example, yesterday I was pressed for time to workout before our staff Christmas party. And I knew I was going to get my "eat on" at the restaurant. With that in mind I chose the most time efficient kettlebell workout I could think of to burn fat and improve conditioning. Simply put, I just did as much volume in the double kettlebell clean and press as possible. Here is the kettlebell workout I did:
- 1 x 24kg kettlebell
- swings x 20 reps
- 2 x 24kg kettlebell
- 10 x 6-10 of clean and press
Doing a bunch of clean and presses is always a surefire to get a great workout in and burn some fat when you are pressed for time so try it for yourself. If you have a little more time and it is warm out, why not do your cleans in front of a hill and bang out a hill sprint
